Sequential Blasting Machines are part of a complete system. The following list of equipmemt and accessories represents the typical Sequential Blasting Machine basic system:

The REO ST and PT series Sequential Blasting Machines are modern easy-to-use programmable timing machines meeting the special requirements of bench blasting operations where precise millisecond/microsecond accuracy is critical.
Programmable timing permits the blaster to take full advantage of the greater accuracies offered by the new electric detonators to achieve better fragmentation and to control ground vibration. The REO Sequential Blasting Machines allow the blaster to continue full production blasting which otherwise would be drastically curtailed if a single circuit machine were employed.
The REO Sequential Blasting Machines are of solid-state capacitor-discharge design with 10 circuits that fire one after the other sequentially at pre-selected time intervals from 1 to 999 milliseconds in 1 millisecond increments. For special requirements, timing selection increments of 100 microseconds to 10 milliseconds are offered.
The BM175 and BM225 series Blasting Machines are 450 volt output models and are recommended for most applications. These models have a cable receptacle on the top panel and require an EC15 series Extension Cable and TB15 Terminal Board to connect to the detonator lead lines.
The timing interval between circuits on the BM175-10ST Blasting Machine is selected and set on a single switch, and the selected timing is IDENTICAL between each circuit.
The timing intervals between circuits on the -10PT series Blasting Machines are selected and set independently on each of nine switches (ten switches on slave models), and the select timing may be DIFFERENT between each circuit.
The -10PT series Blasting Machine is available in MASTER and SLAVE models for applications that require more than 10 circuits. Up to fifteen ten-circuit Slave units can be added as needed.
The BM175 and BM225 series Blasting machines are available in two REMOTE models. The -10PT-RC series operates from the battery powered RC70 Remote Control. The -10PT-RM series operates from mains power.
Several models that bypass open circuits (BOC) are offered for BOCAR (Bypass Open Circuit Automatic Redundancy) blasting methods. All models are available with a KEY feature.
The -10PT series Blasting Machine is available with a TRIGGER OUTPUT that provides an optically isolated output when circuit 1 fires.
EC15-2, EC15-10, EC15-250,
EC15-300, and EC15-500 Extension Cables are available in 2 ft.
(0.6m), 10 ft. (3.0m), 250 ft. (76.2m), 300 ft. (91.4m) and 500
ft. (152.4m) lengths. The EC15-10, EC15-250, EC15-300 and EC15-500
cables are used to connect the blasting machine to the TB12 or
TB15 terminal board. The EC15-2 cable is used to connect the
energy tester to the blasting machine. Cables of other lengths
are available upon request.
CR50 Cable Reel is made
of corrosion-resistant lightweight aluminum and is used to carry
and transport master cables and extension cables up to 500 ft.
A shorting socket keeps all circuits shunted until the plug is
removed for connection to the blasting machine.
SHIPPING WEIGHT: 13 lbs. (6.4 kg.)
Crank handle swings and locks in two positions, for storage and operation.
BMS10 Blaster's Multimeter Switch is used with an REO BO199.9-1 or BO1999-1 Single Circuit Blaster's Ohmmeter or other single circuit Blaster's Multimeters or Blasting Galvanometers when an REO BO199.9-10 or BO1999-10 Ten Circuit Blaster's Ohmmeter is not available. The BMS10 aids in checking for errors and broken wires in multiple blast circuits. A blasting cable receptacle with an attached screw-on duct cap and two meter terminals provide the necessary connection between the meter and the blasting circuits. The enclosure is a rugged water and corrosion resistant polycarbonate plastic case.
SHIPPING WEIGHT: 2 lbs. (0.9 kg.)
TB15 Terminal Board
is a compact, durable,
rugged, lightweight printed circuit design with 10 pairs of hookup
terminals for up to 10 circuits. A socket is provided for connecting
extension cables. The AD Load Plug provides the shunting requirement
during connection of the detonators to the terminal board. In
addition, the terminal board provides convenient Load Plug storage.
SHIPPING WEIGHT: 5 lbs. (2.3 kg.)
AD5 (BM175 series) and AD6
(BM225 series) Load Plugs are used to test blasting machines.
The load plug contains 10 resistors, each equal to the maximum
load resistance of the blasting machine.
SHIPPING WEIGHT: 1 lb. (0.5 kg.)

The REO ET175-10, ET225-10 and ET500-10 Energy Testers provide nominal test values of energy output (measured in percentage of rated energy) for each of the 10 circuits of REO Sequential Blasting Machines listed in the table below. A Light Emitting Diode (LED) bar graph display allows the user to view the energy output of the REO Blasting Machine under test.
All REO Energy Testers have self test features and contain internal load resistance. Each tester is supplied with a cable to connect the tester to the blasting machine.
* Provides nominal test values of energy output (measured in percentage of rated energy) of REO Sequential Blasting Machines.
* Checks all ten blasting machine circuits with one firing.
* Test mode checks tester accuracy and tester batteries.
* Easy to operate.
* Automatic turn-on and shut-off.
* Fast battery change using readily available standard ALKALINE batteries.
* Rugged water and corrosion resistant ABS plastic case.
* Environmentally sealed to operate in most weather.
To test REO Sequential Blasting Machines using the ET175-10 or ET225-10 Energy Tester, connect the blasting machine to the tester using the EC15-2 Connecting Cable. When using the ET500-10 Energy Tester, connect the sequential blasting machine to the tester using the CC30-3 Connecting Cable. Perform the self test function. Charge and fire the sequential blasting machine into the tester. The tester will turn on automatically and the Fired light will come on if energy is present on any circuit. Rotate the Circuit switch on the tester to each of the 10 circuits, noting the Percent of Rated Energy indicated on the bar graph. The tester will shut off automatically after approximately thirty seconds.
The ET175-10, ET225-10 and ET500-10 perform an accuracy check and battery check of the tester when the Test switch is held down and the Circuit switch is rotated to each of the ten circuits. Illumination of the Bat. OK and Cal. OK LED bars indicates proper operation of the tester.
ET175-10, ET225-10 and ET500-10: up to 200 machine tests
The REO Blaster's Ohmmeters provide nominal values of circuit RESISTANCE on a large easy-to-read digital display.
