Unit Engine - Caterpillar 3406C DITA, 465 bhp (347kw) @ 1,800 rpm, includes 180 gal (681l) fuel tank.

Air/Mud Fluid Lines - Rated at 1,000 psi (69 bar), 2" ID (50.8 mm).

Hydraulic System - Five hydraulic pumps, two fixed displacement type and three variable volume piston type, provide hydraulic power for all rig functions. All hydraulic circuits are fully filtered, protected by relief valves and include an oil cooler. Shutoff valves are provided at each tank suction outlet for ease of service.

Rotation Torque Limiter - Control panel mounted valve to regulate hydraulic pressure to the rotation motors.

Rear Outriggers and Mast Tilt - Two rear outriggers are integral members of the drill rig frame. The two mast tilt cylinders are cushioned.

Cooling System - Three core, side by side, 130°F (54.4°C) ambient rating, 48" (1,219 mm) hydraulically driven fan.

Control Panel - Located on the left hand side includes full instrumentation and fold-up operator's and helper's platforms.

Tool Box - A lockable tool box is located on the left hand side of the rig. Capacity - 9 cu ft (.25 cu m).

Electrical System - 24V DC, 75 amp alternator, two 12V batteries, mast and work lights, circuit breakers.

Accessories - Includes two sets operator's and parts manuals and 50 hour maintenance kit.

Mast, 28' 6" Travel
Extended length mast with 28.5 (8.68 m) head travel to allow the use of 25' (7.6 m) drill pipes, casing hammers and dual wall RC drill pipe in lengths of 20 (6 m). May require higher capacity truck and/or over dimension permits. Check local regulations.

28.5 (8.68 m) travel, includes hydraulic holding fork and hydraulic cylinder for breakout wrench.

Feed System - The top head is driven by a hydraulic traverse cylinder through heavy duty leaf chain. Hoist capacity is 30,000 lb (13,605 kg) @ 216 fpm (65.8 mpm). Pulldown capacity is 17,500 lb (7,938 kg) @ 161 fpm (49 mpm).

Truck must be priced separately. Depending on other optional items required, this option may require upgrading to the next weight class of chassis

Permits regulated pressure control of slow feed circuit when hoisting.

Hyd Table Assembly, 4-1/2"
Swing open slip box, 16 1/2" (420 mm) diameter hydraulically retractable table. Includes dust curtain and pipe wiper. Includes removable slip halves for 4-1/2" and 6-5/8". The 10-7/8" slips are securely bolted to the mast base.

60" adjustable pipe wrench hydraulic cylinder mounted for hydraulic breakout capability.

Fuel Tank, Deck Mtd, 205 Gal
Rig fuel tank mounted on top of deck, between cab and rig unit. For inbord style dual outriggers only.

Sullair 20/12 STR two-stage, oil-flooded rotary screw, 900 CFM (25.4 cu m/min) @ 350 psig (24.1 bar).

Clutch
A manually operated, mechanical, two plate, dry, overcenter type clutch is mounted between the engine and compressor.

Stand Pipe, 2" Aux Mud
Short deck mounted stand pipe permits connection for remote mounted auxiliary mud pump separate from compressor line.

Sterling LT9500 6x4 T-brake
Mercedes MBE4000, 410 hp (306 kw) @ 2,000 rpm, 11 speed transmission, 66,000 lb (29,932 kg) G.V.W.R. Standard equipment includes front towing eyes, 120 Volt AC block heater, AM/FM radio & air conditioner, heated air dryer and MB on/off compression turbo engine brake. Requires dual front outriggers.

Outriggers, Dual Front Inboard
Mounted behind the truck cab and located inboard to permit installation of a side rod rack. Also includes all rig mounting material and rear towing eyes. Use with Pipe Rack, Angled 4w x 5h

Jib Boom, Hydr Swing & Extend
180° swing and 27" (686 mm) retract and extend, permits the winch line to be centered over the borehole.

Floating Sub
Spline construction permits free spindle float of 4" (102 mm) while allowing rotation loads of 200 hp (149 kw)

Hammer Holder, 6"
Mounted on the right side outrigger tube for storing 5" - 6" hammers and bits. Tube size 6-1/4" ID (158.7 mm).

Lazy Susan, 12 Rod BO (4.5")
Hydraulically operated carousel for 20' (6 m) special Schramm breakout drill pipe. Every other slot is reloadable.

Pipe Spinner, Arm Style
Speeds make-up and break-out of tool joints when handling pipe with a wireline winch. Unit mounts above mast table area, hydraulically grips and rotates pipe that is suspended from the winch line.

Sliding Top Head, Hydraulic
Slides 15" (381 mm) off the center of the borehole by means of a hydraulic cylinder.

Stabilizer Holder, Mast Mntd
Mounted on the right side of the mast for storing a stabilizer.

Pipe Handling Cntrls, Standard
Manually operated hydraulic valves are actuated to allow operation of the jib boom and the winch.

Aux Winch Controls
Hydraulic valves are mounted on the right rear side of the rig to allow the helper to operate the jib boom and the winch.

Winch, 15,000 lb (150' x 5/8")
A hydraulically powered winch is mounted to the back of the mast to facilitate drill pipe and casing handling. With this option, the (optional) hydraulic jib boom has a reduced swing travel. The jib stop is set to center over the borehole.

Foam Injection
Diaphragm type electric pulse pump injects into intake manifold of water injection pump, includes 5 gal (19 l) foam container.

Water Injection, Bean 18 gpm
Bean model E0413C quad piston pump.

Pipe Rack, Angled 3w x 4h
Angled & extended, holds (12) lengths of 4-1/2" OD x 20 (114.3 mm x 6 m) long drill pipe. A rod slide is mounted on the inboard side. Requires extended wheelbase truck. Recommend full side walkways extended.

Full Walkways Extd/J Box spl
Extended full side walkways fit longer than standard trucks. Mounted along side of the pipe rack, open grate design. This option is recommended when rig is equipped with angled or extended pipe rack. Cannot be used with flat pipe rack. Includes junk box on right side.
